Strip Metadata
Removes EXIF and similar fields: the camera, the lens, the timestamp and, on a photo from a phone, usually the exact location it was taken. Worth doing to anything before you publish it.
How to reach it
- Pick the file up in Finder, as if you were moving it.
- Hold ⌥. The ring of tools appears around the cursor.
- Let go toward Strip Metadata.
What it accepts
Any audio or image or pdf or video file Arazio reads — 28 formats in all.
What it writes
A new file in the same format, beside the original. The file you started with is not touched.
