Formats
BZ2 files
A single compressed file, not an archive of several — usually wrapped around a TAR, which is where .tar.bz2 comes from.
Convert BZ2 to
Arazio converts BZ2 to five formats. All of them sit on the ring.
Tools that work on BZ2
Hold ⌥ over a BZ2 instead of ⇧ and these appear. They change the file without changing its format.
What it keeps
- Lossless — converting into it does not degrade the image.
Where the file goes
Beside the original, in the same folder, with the same name and a new extension. Nothing is overwritten and nothing is uploaded — see Privacy and permissions.
Extensions: .bz2 · Category: archive · The six formats on BZ2's ring — hold ⇧ and they appear around the cursor.
