Formats
BMP files
An uncompressed Windows bitmap. Rarely wanted on purpose, occasionally demanded by old software.
Convert BMP to
Arazio converts BMP to eight formats. All of them sit on the ring.
Tools that work on BMP
Hold ⌥ over a BMP instead of ⇧ and these appear. They change the file without changing its format.
What it keeps
- Lossless — converting into it does not degrade the image.
Where the file goes
Beside the original, in the same folder, with the same name and a new extension. Nothing is overwritten and nothing is uploaded — see Privacy and permissions.
Extensions: .bmp · Category: image · BMP converts to eight formats — hold ⇧ and they appear around the cursor.
