Formats
7Z files
7-Zip's archive. Compresses harder than ZIP, and needs software that knows it at the other end.
Convert 7Z to
Arazio converts 7Z to five formats. All of them sit on the ring.
Tools that work on 7Z
Hold ⌥ over a 7Z instead of ⇧ and these appear. They change the file without changing its format.
What it keeps
- Lossless — converting into it does not degrade the image.
Where the file goes
Beside the original, in the same folder, with the same name and a new extension. Nothing is overwritten and nothing is uploaded — see Privacy and permissions.
Extensions: .7z · Category: archive · The six formats on 7Z's ring — hold ⇧ and they appear around the cursor.
