Formats
AIFF files
Apple's uncompressed audio format. A WAV by another name, for most purposes.
Convert AIFF to
Arazio converts AIFF to seven formats. All of them sit on the ring.
Tools that work on AIFF
Hold ⌥ over a AIFF instead of ⇧ and these appear. They change the file without changing its format.
What it keeps
- Lossless — converting into it does not degrade the image.
Where the file goes
Beside the original, in the same folder, with the same name and a new extension. Nothing is overwritten and nothing is uploaded — see Privacy and permissions.
Extensions: .aiff, .aif · Category: audio · AIFF converts to seven formats — hold ⇧ and they appear around the cursor.
