Formats
ICO files
A Windows icon, which can hold several sizes of the same image in one file. Mostly wanted for a site's favicon.
Convert ICO to
Arazio converts ICO to nine formats. eight of them sit on the ring; the rest are a keystroke away in the app.
Tools that work on ICO
Hold ⌥ over a ICO instead of ⇧ and these appear. They change the file without changing its format.
What it keeps
- Lossless — converting into it does not degrade the image.
- Transparency — an alpha channel survives the conversion.
Where the file goes
Beside the original, in the same folder, with the same name and a new extension. Nothing is overwritten and nothing is uploaded — see Privacy and permissions.
Extensions: .ico · Category: image · The eight formats on ICO's ring — hold ⇧ and they appear around the cursor.
