# WAV files

Uncompressed audio. Perfect quality, enormous files, and what audio software wants to be handed.

## Convert WAV to

AAC, AIFF, FLAC, M4A, MP3, OGG, Opus.

## Tools that work on WAV

Hold Option rather than Shift: Compress, Merge, Normalize, Split, Strip Metadata, Trim.

## Where the file goes

Beside the original, same folder, same name, new extension. Nothing is overwritten and nothing is uploaded.
